A differenza dei set Slinky però questi sono utilizzati anche da artisti pop, rock e metal come The Mars Volta e Judas Priest.Costruite con precisione in base più elevati standard e su specifiche rigorose per garantire timbro e longevità, le corde Ernie Ball Nickel Wound sono in nickelplated steel su un’anima a forma esagonale. Le corde piane sono prodotte in tin plated high carbon steel temperato per un timbro ben bilanciato.
